Going through the temple-

On March 19th I was able to go through the Provo temple to receive my endowments.

I was living up in Provo and had a job that didn't allow me to be able to come home to Arizona so I decided that the Provo temple would be the place for me.

The two weeks before I entered the temple I was very nervous. I am a person who fears the unknown a little too much and I had heard different things from different people so I didn't know what to expect. After talking to my bishop and stake president I was able to gain some clarity and I decided that I was going to just try and focus on the spirit as I received my endowments. A good friend had given me some things to study and I tried to do everything I could so I could have the spirit with me when I went through.

When I finally went through I was overwhelmed with the spirit and it was a beautiful day. Temples are truly inspired of  God and they are crucial to our salvation.

I have been so blessed to have the privilege to go back as I have been preparing for the mission and I have visited other temples and the spirit is the same wherever you go.

The Lord has a plan for all of us, and I'm grateful for a place where I can better understand that plan and also my own personal plan for life. I love this gospel and I know that it is made possible because of our Savior,  Jesus Christ, who died so that we may all live again.

My parents came and also my two sisters and their husbands, as well as my great aunt and uncle and one of my very best friends, Miranda. It was a beautiful day :)
